A 2.5-acre estate that once belonged to Eddie Murphy is now on the market for $12 million, according to The Wall Street Journal. The Sacramento, Calif. home has 10 bedrooms (including one with Shrek-themed decor), 14 bathrooms, four wet bars, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a 9-car garage. The Murphys sold it to real estate investor Patrick K. Willis back in 2007, when Eddie and his ex-wife Nicole were finalizing their divorce.
The stunning property covers an area of 10,000m² and features a 1.1150m² main residence and a 485m² guest home. Because of the home’s special location plenty of privacy and stunning views of the Sierra Nevada and the Folsom Lake are guaranteed.
The main mansion features 10 bedrooms, a 12-seat screening room, a gourmet kitchen, a billiard room, an arcarde parlor, four bars, and a large gym with a sauna and steam room. Marble floors and rich carpets are only a small part of the quality equipment. The outdoor area includes an infinity pool, spa, waterfalls, pavilions, a basketball as well as a tennis court.
There’s a professional-quality gym, an infinity pool with a two waterfalls, a movie theater with purple seats, and a 5,200-square-foot guest house.
