Roberto Cavalli Designed MINI Paceman

This year's award for Life Ball Mini designer goes to Roberto Cavalli. The Life Ball is a charity event held in Vienna, Austria every year that raises money to fight the spread of HIV and AIDS. Since 2001, the year of its reintroduction, Mini has been involved with the ball, auctioning a car that has been made over by a world-famous designer. This year Cavalli gets the nod and a Paceman for a canvas.

























Roberto Cavalli - designed Mini Paceman in the Italian designer's favorite gold-theme was sold for a record €150,000 at the AIDS Solidarity Gala in Vienna, Austria. The special Paceman, dubbed "Life Ball Mini 2013", has an iridescent paintwork, Cavalli logo on the roof and signature on the door, gold-painted roof and alloys, along with gold-finished grill frame, mirror cases, headlight and taillight surrounds. 


























In the interior are gilded elements, Cavalli’s logo on the headrests and sun visors, along with animal prints on the steering wheel and instruments.


























Since 2001, 13 unique Mini models have been created by fashion designers, with auction proceeds of more than half a million euros being donated to projects dedicated to the battle against AIDS.
