Ulusaba Private Game Reserve is Sir Richard Branson's safari lodge located in the Western sector of the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. Guests can taste the spoils of Africa in peace and tranquillity and book individual rooms or exclusively hire individual lodges or the hotel as a whole ideal for weddings and celebrations.
Ulusaba re-defines the rules of a safari lodge and taken a step away from the traditional colonial style by offering swimming pools, gymnasiums, a wine cellar, Aroma Boma spas with panoramic views, a Bush Observatory perfect for star gazing and tennis courts. With all of these facilities, you really need to plan your days so you can enjoy safari walks, moon-lit bush dinners and of course, the twice daily game drives.
There are two lodges at Ulusaba. One is perched high on the summit of a koppie rocky hill and is called Rock Lodge. Here you will find spectacular panoramic views over miles of bush, the wildlife roaming within, and the beauty of the low veld bushy grassland plain below, all set against a backdrop of the Drakensberg Mountain range far in the distance.
Rock Lodge can accommodate up to 18 guests in eight ultra-luxurious suites. Safari Lodge is built along the banks of the dry Mabrak riverbed. The rooms are built tree house style and you really get the feeling of being at the heart of life in the bush.
Guests can relax in the Aroma Boma Beauty Treatment Spa, use the state of the art gymnasium, or enjoy a game of tennis on one of our two courts complete with Viewing Pavilion. Rackets and balls provided.
The exclusivity of Ulusaba affords us the luxury of personally overseeing each guest's visit and the opportunity to welcome you into our special family. Rate includes luxury accommodation, three meals a day, and all beverages.
Daily game viewing activities in open vehicles. Optional walking safaris accompanied by a professional field guide. Services of the professional field guides and lodge staff. Laundry and valet service.
