Alta Peyra - Luxury Chalet On Europe’s Highest Village

Reach for the sky! Perched even higher than the legendary village of Saint-Véran, Alta Peyra has the slopes at its feet... Designed as a small hamlet divided into five interconnected buildings with interior corridors, it is in perfect harmony with the traditional houses in the village called “fustes.”

A veritable ode to comfort blending elegance and purity, the hotel features 59 rooms with terraces including 7 suites, 3 restaurants including a gastronomic restaurant and heated terrace, a wine bar and bar-lounge, an indoor/outdoor heated pool, spa area, shop, parking garage with valet parking and ski shop.

The Alta Peyra boasts 59-rooms including seven suites with balconies, three restaurants, one of which offers gastro cuisine and another panoramic views, as well as a wine bar and bar-lounge, and a Nuxe spa with an indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, hammam and fitness suite: all the trappings of sheer indulgence in a traditional village setting.

The log cabins have been designed by architect Régis Dallier, and the luxury hotel forms a small hamlet composed of five discreetly interconnected buildings. The Alta Tempo building is a spacious interpretation of Saint-Véran’s log cabins and a custom-built space spread over four floors: home to the hotel’s spa, swimming pool and solarium.
