The sparkling new jewel suite at the New York Palace Hotel

Continuing the trend of themed suites is the New York Palace Hotel that recently completed a $140 million renovation and unveiled its sparking new The Jewel Suite by Martin Katz and The Champagne Suite. The two triplex suites have been designed by renowned American jewelry designer Martin Katz and New York-based design firm BBG-BBGM respectively. Both suites sit on the 53rd floor, is spread over 5,000 sq ft and comes with a $25,000 price tag per night.


























Launching Jewel Suite by Martin Katz at The Towers at the famed New York Palace Hotel saw a host of celebrities and VIPs including Grammy Award winning artists David Foster, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and The Tenors. The Jewel Suite is adorned in rich fabrics and jewel-inspired tones creating a sense of luxury and romance. With Port Laurent stone floors, diamond-like wall coverings in soothing jewel tones, a 20-foot ‘diamond waterfall’ chandelier, a permanent installation of ‘floating’ crystal jewel boxes encasing distinctive jewelry creations by Martin Katz are among its glittering features.




A grand piano takes the center stage in the Grand Parlor while the Master Bedroom, located on the second floor, continues with the jewel theme with Art Deco-inspired chairs upholstered in silver and pearl velvet and a custom-designed Lucite tableau showcasing spectacular jewels. 

The suites’ top most level boasts of one of the few wood burning fireplaces available in a New York City hotel as well as a private outdoor terrace and Spa. Guests staying in the suite can take home a little bit of the Martin Katz sparkle with a $2,500 Martin Katz Diamond Microband Ring.
