Reconditioned 1951 Jaguar XK120 Roadster for Auction

Once the fastest production vehicle in the world, the Jaguar XK120 was a favorite among car racers, auto enthusiasts and casual drivers back in its time. When it was launched seven decades ago, its 120 mph top speed was more than anyone had ever seen on a road-legal car. Actually, factory tests even went beyond 130 mph, so it really wasn’t difficult to fall in love with this vehicle.

Today a stunning 1951 Jaguar XK120 Roadster is back under the spotlight thanks to a careful restoration program that brought it back to its original condition. Curvy and elegant, the car was a remarkable achievement in post-war design and it still is a beautiful car today.

True connoisseurs will hardly resist its allure when it will go under the gavel on October 10-11. Interested collectors will be able to bid for the historic roadster at the upcoming RM Auctions sale in Hershey, Pennsylvania. They should be ready to shell out at least $130,000-$150,000 if they really want the car in their garages.
