Naladhu Maldives

Translated as 'beautiful island' in Maldivian: Naladhu offers an alluring mix of luxury and tropical seclusion on a palm-covered atoll in the Maldives.

In the middle of the Indian Ocean, the last thing you'd expect is a salt sommelier at dinner. But guess what? There he is. Upon touchdown in the Maldives, your House Master from Naladhu, an exclusive concierge, will escort you, by boat, to your private house.

The Ocean Houses are on the sunrise side of the resort overlooking the open ocean. They offer a greater feeling of seclusion than the Beach Houses that face the turquoise lagoon. Soak in the romantic outdoor bath, or lounge, read, and nap in the swinging daybed on the covered patio. Every day, around 5:30pm, your housemaster will bring you drinks and some canapés. When you saunter off to a nearby desert island for a private beach dinner, he will restock the house with provisions.

On your walks, you'll see kayaks scattered around Naladhu. Just pick one up and go. Paddle out to the small, uninhabited island and snorkel the reef from there. Naladhu is restricted to guests only, but you can freely visit the other islands. Just ask your House Master for a boat transfer, a dhoni - a traditional Maldivian boat - will whisk you away.
