$3.5 Billion Baha Mar in Bahamas – Western Hemisphere’s Largest and Most Luxury Resort

Once completed, and it’s scheduled for December 2014, the new $3.5 million Baha Mar project will be the biggest thing in Bahamas. More precisely, it will be the western hemisphere’s largest and most luxury resort, big enough to overshadow the Atlantis mega-resort.

This one of the world’s most expensive resort will arise on 1,000 acres on New Providence Island’s white-sand beach, just 12 minutes from Nassau’s newly expanded Lynden Pindling International Airport. Everything about Baha Mar is a big. Planned features include four hotels with 2,200 rooms, 307 private residences, a 9,300-square-metre (100,000 sq ft) casino, a 30,000 sq ft spa, and a 18-hole Championship golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus.

The centerpiece will certainly be a 100,000-square foot casino, the Caribbean’s largest. It will boasts more than 1,500 slot machines and 150 table games. Global Gaming Asset Management was selected to operate the casino-hotel. Luxury resort will also boasts 200,000 square feet of meeting space, 3,000 feet of beachfront, chef-branded restaurants and a retail village.

A spacious massage terrace, exercise room, two kitchens for indoor and outdoor dining, and a private pool are also part of this stunning property. And all this beauty can be yours if you are willing to shell out $12,000,000.
